NUTRITIONAL EATING HABITS
Nutritional habits and behaviors of participants were classified into 2 categories :
1. representational of nutritional behavior based on consumption pattern.
[subcategories - meat, dairy , fast food , local food , fruits & vegetables ,soft drinks and oil . ]
2. representational of nutritional behavior based on consumption method.
[consumption method in line with health , consumption method inconsistent with health ]
Nutritional habits and behavior are most typically diseases in an individuals unhealthy behavior and habits . Individuals behavior is likely to decrease or increase of cancer risk , heart attack , strokes, and physical damage . Nutritional behavior patterns of a society is a part of its cultural patterns .In other words values and social norms have a role in nutritional habits .
IMPORTANCES OF NUTRITIONAL HABITS
A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition .Eating a variety of foods consuming less salt , sugars and saturated and trans- fats are essential for healthy diet . A nutritional healthy diet combination of different foods .
1. Cereals [wheat ,barley , or rice ]or starchy or roots [ potato ]
2. Legumes [ beans ]
3. fruits and vegetables
4. foods from animal source product [ meat , egg , fish , and milk ]
Most of the time , healthy goals related to our eating habits ,and eating healthy nutrition food .
Here are some good nutrition eating habits
A goal to drink water instead of sugar - sweetened drinks .Eat slowly and it takes 20 min for your brain and send signals that you are full. Eating one serving will help us keep our calories intake in check . fruits and green leafy vegetables are very nutritional food and it is naturally low in saturated and trans fat , & rich in dietary fiber , vitamins and minerals . eating whole grains food such as brown rice , whole meal bread and rolled oats that can help reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes . so brown rice take at least 2 times a week at lunch .
